Mixed Metal Oxides (MMO) Coated Tubular Anode
Feature:

MMO Tubular Anode consists of a titanium tube to ASTM B338 Gr. 1 coated with precious mixed metal oxides (IrO2 /Ta2O5). Our MMO coating is highly conductive and the anodes have a very low consumption rate. This combination of characteristics results in a long-life expectancy even when the anode is subjected to a high current density rating. 


YUXI MMO Tubular Anodes are made by an automated brushing machine with unique etching and thermal sintering technology, enabling us to produce a homogeneous coating with superior adhesion properties whilst maintaining a production capacity up to 500,000 Nos of MMO Tubes each year.

NOBEL METAL OXIDE COATING

Whether operating in soil, mud, fresh water or seawater, mixed metal oxide coatings demonstrate high chemical stability, even in environments with low pH values. Depend on the form of usage, the coatings can be mixed of two or more metal oxides such as iridium oxides (IrO2), tantalum oxides (Ta2O5) and ruthenium oxides (RuO2). Based upon accelerated life testing conducted by an independent laboratory, our MMO coating has been proven to be superior to other similar products in the market.

The iridium-tantalum mixed metal oxide catalyst is recommended for use in soil or fresh water, where there is either no
chloride ions or low chloride ions present.

 Ir–Ru Mixed Metal Oxide Catalyst

The iridium-ruthenium mixed metal oxide catalyst can be used in seawater, brackish water, mud, concrete and any other severe environment conditions including high acidity or in the presence of chlorine or oxygen.
